I recently bought a microsoft store code for Forza Horizon 3.

I installed it and after a long 50+ GB download I attempted to start the game. Forza Horizon 3 will then show a splash screen shortly and close the program again. I have never been able to play the game or go past the splash screen.

I am running a rig containing: Windows 10 Education, i7 4790, 16GB ram, 1080Ti.

I have attempted multiple so called fixes, none have helped. I previously asked help on the Forza reddit but was referred to here after failed attempt after failed attempt.

- I've done the wsreset method after uninstalling and then reinstalling - no dice

- I've done the reset app method - also no luck.

- I've tried running it without defender and malwarebytes running.

- I've also tried downloading a free app on the Microsoft store to fix a possible licensing issue. - it didn't work :(

Black sails theme song download. - I've uninstalled and reinstalled FH3 four six times now on several HDDs, an SSD and a portable external SSD.

- I am logged in on my live account (user, store, xbox app, xbox one). I do NOT use a local account.

- There are exception in place for FH3 in firewall, defender and malwarebytes.

I own an xbox one, and I have successfully installed and played the purchased copy there. It's unfortunate, because I prefer playing on my current gaming rig and was the sole reason I purchased the game in the first place.

In my previous reddit help request the fact that I get an enormous amount of DCOM 10010 and DCOM 10016 errors is most likely what needs to be fixed imo, but I have limited knowledge hence me asking for help. I've tried a fix for those errors, but it came out useless.

Could someone please help me out with this? Thanks in advance.
