The second page must include the information at the top, AND the completed artwork. Follow the direction below for links to the different forms, or for information about how to complete them. If you get the two completed forms (your application AND artwork) to any of the Art teachers (Mrs. Brown, Ms. Haberman, or Mr. Galle) by Wednesday 3/20/2013, we'll mail them for you. If you wish to participate in the competition on your own, it is your responsibility to submit your entries. Welcome to Doodle 4 Google, a contest where we invite students in the United States to use their artistic talent to think big and redesign Google's Doodle for millions to see. This year, we ask students to exercise their creative imaginations around the theme, 'My best day ever..' One talented student artist will see their artwork appear on the Google homepage and receive a $30,000 college scholarship. And their school will be awarded a $50,000 technology grant. - An eligible Official Entry Form consists of:
- Page 1 of this form completed and signed by the student’s parent/guardian.
- Page 2 of this form with the fields and artwork completed.
- For legibility purposes, we encourage you to complete the form on your computer, prior to printing, as the fields are editable (You may also fill out a printed version of the form in black or blue ink.)
- Once complete, please print out the form on white or lightly colored 8.5”x11” paper. Be sure to print on 2 separate pages.
- Make sure the student’s parent/guardian signs the form on the appropriate line. The entry will not be considered without this signature.
- Use Page 2 of the Official Entry Form to showcase the student’s artwork. Be sure to complete the requested fields on Page 2 as well.
- Scan the completed, signed entry form (Page 1 and Page 2) and save to your computer.
- Teachers and parents can submit as many original pieces of artwork as they like, there is no limit for a school or family. However, only one doodle per student will be accepted. If more than one is submitted, only the first doodle received will be considered.
- You can submit single or multiple entries by mail OR online. Please do not do both.
- The Official Entry Form must be received no later than 11:59pm ET 3/22/13.
